How you can celebrate OT WEEK
Spread the word
- Include the OT WEEK logo on your website, e-bulletins, email signatures, brochures and newsletters.
- Tell your members and your networks about OT WEEK and invite them toshow support for the profession.
- Display OT WEEK posters at your work place and ask local businesses to show support by displaying a poster in their windows.

Contact the media
- Read our top 10 tips on how to attract the media and make sure you get information about your organisation in your local media.
- Check out what to include in your media release.
Organise an event
- Hold a thank you morning tea, an awards night or even an information session to tell people about your organisation and the great work done by occupational therapists. Tip: Involve your local community businesses in your OT WEEK event. Many local businesses will be happy to donate prizes, food or even a venue - especially if you offer them some promotion at your event.
- Invite a speaker to talk about how they have been impacted by occupational therapists.
